Alcuin Languages specialises in home study and correspondence language courses.
Founded in 2009 by Susan Valdar, Alcuin Languages aims to provide language tuition specifically tailored to the needs of adults and teenagers.
A graduate of the University of York, one of the U.K's top universities, Susan studied Linguistics (the science of language) and Language Acquisition, German and Mandarin Chinese at the Universities of York and Vienna. She subsequently had a successful business career, working for British, German and American companies. Her teaching experience comes from seven years of teaching adults and teenagers at Croydon College's Business School.
All Alcuin Languages courses are developed in conjunction with native speakers of the target language and our courses and certificates of achievement are marked by trained native speakers or by qualified language graduates. All our audio is voiced by native speakers.
