When you buy an Alcuin Languages home study or correspondence course you receive a study pack for each level containing
the course book with the stories, the vocabulary and the explanations of the rules and patterns of your new language
the audio voiced by native speakers who act out the story and pronounce the vocabulary for you
the worksheets of exercises which go with the explanations of the rules and patterns of your new language
either the answer book if you’ve chosen to Mark-it-yourself
or a set of pre-paid envelopes for you to send your work to us if you’ve chosen to use the Marking Service Option
To use the course, take the course book and the audio and follow the story, while listening to the audio.
Use the vocabulary to practise and learn the new words in the lesson.
Then work through the clear explanations in English in the course book.
After that it’s your turn to practise everything you’ve just learned, using the exercises in the worksheets which come with the course.

· If you’ve chosen to add the Certificate Option, send us the final test paper for our experts to mark. The test paper covers all the aspects of what you’ve learned in the level of the course. Meet the required standard and earn a certificate.
